I love Cats!
Welcome to my collection of pages relating to cats. At least it will be.
I can only add so many pages per day to this website. After all, I do require some sleep. *smile*
I know my daughter, Burgundy, will be a frequent visitor to this section of pages.
I will compile the following information:
  • Breed Information: on the favorite breeds of Charity, James and/or Burgundy
(only Bengal & Savannah are done so far, I'm working on Maine Coon & Siberian)
  • Pictures of our prior cats
  • Pictures of our current cats
  • Research on Cat Health, Genetics, etc
I need a cat or two, to fill the positions as my therapy cat & physical therapy cat.

I suffer from Major Depression & Post-Traumatic Stress. Having loving cats, that are devoted to me, will
help me more than any medication could. My knees are so bad that I have to use a walker. In addition, I
also have Fibromyalgia which causes my muscles to be extremely tight & causes severe pain. Brushing &
playing with my cats daily will help stretch my muscles. While using my walker, taking my cats to shows will
help me stay mobile. Jim also needs the cats, not only because he loves cats too, but because he knows they
will make me happy. My husband likes it when I'm happy.*smile*
Sales from my eBay store helps to fund the Maine Coon search.

Since we love all animals - not just Cats & Dogs but also Livestock, Reptiles & Exotic - it was difficult to
decide if we wanted to get me a therapy/service Dog or therapy/service Cat. We spent most of 2009
making the decision of which would be better for my therapy & physical therapy needs vs How able am I to
care for the animal in the manner it deserves. I think we made up our mind when I was hospitalized Dec 29,
2009 for my SI joint being partially dislocated. It was a good reminder of  how much pain I suffer daily and
how my mobility changes daily.  If we would get a dog, there would be days where I couldn't take it outside
or for walks because of my disabilities. What if those days coincided with a 10 hour work day where my
husband would be gone for 11-12 hours a day. That is not fair to any dog. A cat on the other hand does not
require such physical excursion on my part.  Actually the cat would be better on my days of limited mobility
because they would get more loving time from me!
So that's why we decided on a cat! And - That's probably more info than you needed to know! *smile*
It took a reminder from a cattery on 1-20-09 for me to
update the cat section of my website. So thank you Chris!
Jim & I have decided to look for a Maine Coon kitten or two.
We want them for many reasons.
